Senior Systems Investigation & Resolution Engineer (m/f/d)

We are currently supporting a leading international technology organisation developing advanced electronic systems for next-generation mobility and industrial applications. As part of a multidisciplinary engineering environment, we are looking for a Senior Systems Investigation & Resolution Engineer to lead complex technical investigations, drive root-cause analysis activities, and support product reliability across the full development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:
· Investigate complex system-level issues and perform detailed root-cause analysis on returned products and field incidents.
· Define and implement defect-resolution strategies in collaboration with Systems, Software, Hardware, and Validation teams.
· Design, plan, and execute advanced verification and validation activities across simulation, laboratory, integration, and field-test environments.
· Review technical solutions and contribute to system architecture discussions, design reviews, and continuous product improvement initiatives.
· Act as a key technical stakeholder during issue-resolution activities involving internal and external partners.
· Monitor defect status, maintain traceability within issue management tools, and report progress through relevant performance indicators.

Qualifications and Skills:
· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Embedded Systems, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
· Proven experience in troubleshooting complex electronic, embedded, or software-integrated systems.
· Strong knowledge of structured problem-solving methodologies and root-cause analysis techniques.
· Experience defining and executing system validation and diagnostic test strategies.
· Hands-on experience with defect tracking and project management tools such as Jira or similar platforms.
· Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
