A leading belgian financial services organization undergoing a significant data transformation journey. The company is strengthening its data quality capabilities and reporting maturity to ensure trusted, high-quality data supports decision-making, reporting, and operational processes across the business. As part of this initiative, they are seeking a Data Quality & Reporting Specialist to help expand and enhance established data quality frameworks and reporting solutions.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate a complex stakeholder landscape across both business and IT teams.
- Develop and implement data quality plans for new projects and transformation initiatives in collaboration with project management teams.
- Analyze and profile datasets to define critical data elements and establish effective data quality rules with data stewards, custodians, and business domain owners.
- Build, enhance, and maintain Power BI data quality dashboards and reports in partnership with data engineers and functional analysts.
- Translate data quality metrics and findings into actionable recommendations and support remediation activities.
- Ensure consistency and scalability of existing data quality frameworks across new business domains and project phases.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum 6 years of experience in data analysis, data quality management, or a related field, preferably within complex or evolving environments.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI and SQL, with the ability to create meaningful reporting and insights.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across business and technical teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to translate technical findings into business value.
- Self-driven, structured, and comfortable working independently while managing changing priorities.
- Fluency in English and either Dutch or French; familiarity with data modeling concepts and experience within the insurance sector are considered advantageous.
