DevOps Specialist is responsible for building and maintaining automation pipelines, improving deployment reliability, and ensuring stable, scalable infrastructure. Work closely with developers and operations teams to optimize CI/CD processes, monitor system performance, and implement tools and practices that enhance speed, quality, and operational efficiency across the software lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
- Advanced certifications in software engineering.
- 3 years as hands-on DevOps
- UAE National / Emirati
Roles and Responsibilities
- Support deployment, operation, and automation of cloud-native applications. Maintain CI/CD pipelines, managing Docker and Kubernetes environments, monitoring system performance, troubleshooting infrastructure issues, and assisting with cloud platform operations. Basic knowledge of Linux, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools, and scripting (Bash or Python).
- Design, develop, and maintain Java applications using industry best practices and standards under guidance from senior team members
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following established coding standards and participating in code reviews
- Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and contribute to technical solutions
- Actively learn new technologies and methodologies to improve development skills and contribute to team knowledge sharing
- Write unit tests and maintain technical documentation for developed features and applications
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects in a timely manner
