A major organisation operating in a complex and fast-evolving digital environment, delivering large-scale IT solutions to support critical business operations. The organisation is focused on enhancing the quality and reliability of its systems through structured testing strategies and continuous improvement, and is seeking an experienced IT Quality Manager to lead and transform its testing capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Define, implement, and promote a comprehensive end-to-end testing strategy aligned with industry best practices
- Lead and coordinate testing activities across major releases and projects, ensuring quality standards are met before deployment
- Manage and guide testing teams, including external partners, to ensure effective delivery and continuous skill development
- Oversee business acceptance testing processes and contribute to key validation decisions prior to release
- Drive continuous improvement of testing practices through performance analysis, feedback, and action plans
- Maintain and evolve testing methodologies, ensuring adoption across all relevant IT teams
Qualifications and Skills:
- Extensive experience in IT environments with a strong focus on testing and quality assurance, including leadership responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies, including automation practices
- Proven ability to manage teams and coordinate testing activities across multiple stakeholders
- Solid understanding of complex IT systems and ability to analyse risks and ensure quality delivery
- Strong organisational, planning, and communication skills with the ability to work under pressure
- Proficiency in English; additional languages are considered an advantage
