We are seeking a Junior PMO Analyst to support the Project Management Office in delivering governance, reporting, and coordination across the project portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career to build a strong foundation in project and programme controls within a fast-paced, professional services environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the maintenance of project plans, RAID logs, and status trackers across multiple workstreams
  • Assist in the preparation of weekly and monthly project status reports, dashboards, and steering committee packs
  • Coordinate project governance activities, including scheduling and minuting steering groups, working groups, and project boards
  • Track project actions, risks, issues, and dependencies, chasing owners for timely updates
  • Maintain the PMO SharePoint/document repository, ensuring version control and consistent document standards
  • Support resource and capacity tracking across active projects
  • Help maintain the project portfolio roadmap and benefits tracker
  • Assist with budget tracking and basic financial reporting for projects (forecast vs. actual)
  • Support onboarding of new projects into the PMO framework, ensuring compliance with governance standards
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of PMO templates, processes, and tools
  • Provide general administrative and coordination support to Project Managers and the PMO Lead

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 0–2 years' experience in a PMO, project coordination, or project support role
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Asana)
  • Awareness of project management methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall, PRINCE2)
  • A recognised project management qualification (e.g. APM PFQ, PRINCE2 Foundation) is a plus.
  • Experience working in a corporate, financial services, or professional services environment
