L3 Analyst & Detection Engineer (m/f/d)

A leading financial-sector institution dedicated to maintaining economic stability and safeguarding the integrity of critical financial systems. The organization is seeking a highly skilled L3 SOC Analyst / Detection Engineer to enhance its cybersecurity posture and strengthen its security operations capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex cybersecurity incident investigations and guide junior analysts through escalations.

  • Conduct advanced forensic analysis and coordinate containment, eradication, and recovery activities.

  • Perform proactive threat hunting using behavioral analytics and threat intelligence.

  • Develop, refine, and validate detection rules and use cases across SIEM, EDR, and XDR platforms.

  • Enhance SOC processes, playbooks, and automation to improve operational efficiency.

  • Mentor team members and contribute to continuous improvement of SOC maturity.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong expertise in incident response, digital forensics, and threat analysis.

  • Hands-on experience with detection engineering and security monitoring technologies.

  • Deep understanding of attacker TTPs and frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK.

  • Ability to translate threat intelligence into actionable detection content.

  • Experience conducting threat hunting and analyzing advanced attack patterns.

  • Strong communication and leadership skills to support cross-functional collaboration.
