A major international organization operating in a complex financial and operational environment, delivering large-scale systems and services across multiple regions. The organization is currently strengthening its internal systems landscape and is looking for a senior applications specialist to support financial systems integration, development, and optimisation initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyse business and functional requirements in collaboration with finance and technical stakeholders
- Design and deliver integrations between enterprise financial systems and the broader application landscape
- Develop and maintain data processes, including data migration and transformation activities
- Collaborate with internal development teams to build interfaces with legacy and third-party systems
- Support testing phases, user training, and deployment activities to ensure smooth implementation
- Promote ownership and optimisation of finance processes across business units and regions
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience (10+ years) working on end-to-end implementations of enterprise financial systems
- Strong understanding of core finance processes (e.g. general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, reporting, procurement, project accounting)
- Solid experience in system integration using APIs, data interfaces, and web services
- Advanced technical expertise in database querying and scripting, with strong data manipulation skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management, with strong requirements gathering capability
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) with the ability to work in an international environment
