Product Owner
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE (On-site, 5 days per week)
Contract Type: 12-Month Contract
We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Product Owner to drive the development and enhancement of digital products within a complex, customer-focused environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in defining product vision, managing priorities, and ensuring the delivery of high-value solutions through Agile methodologies.
Working closely with business stakeholders, development teams, designers, and QA professionals, you will be responsible for translating business needs into clear product requirements and ensuring successful product delivery aligned with strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring it is well-prioritized, refined, and aligned with business goals.
- Define and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap.
- Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, QA, and business stakeholders to deliver product enhancements and new capabilities.
- Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, converting them into user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
- Break down complex business workflows into actionable product requirements and development tasks.
- Drive feature prioritization based on business value, customer impact, and strategic objectives.
- Monitor product performance, KPIs, customer satisfaction metrics, and user feedback to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Facilitate effective communication between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring shared understanding and successful execution.
- Utilize tools such as Jira, Miro, and Figma to manage workflows, visualize product concepts, and track delivery progress.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Analyst, Product Manager, or similar role.
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks, particularly Scrum and Kanban.
- Proven experience managing product backlogs, grooming requirements, and planning releases.
- Hands-on experience with Jira, Miro, Figma, or comparable product management tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to simplify complex workflows.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to translate technical requirements into business language and vice versa.
- Experience defining product success metrics and driving outcomes through KPI-focused decision-making.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience within healthcare, health-tech, insurance, or other regulated industries.
- Knowledge of user-centered design principles and UX best practices.
- Agile certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager, or equivalent.
- Experience working in highly regulated environments and managing compliance-related requirements.
