We are seeking a Senior IT Architect to play a strategic role at our client, a bank based in Greece. This position is critical, as it will serve as a key reference point for our architectural capability and enable expansion into additional and parallel projects. 

The successful candidate will bring a strong combination of IT architecture expertise, banking domain knowledge, and excellent communication skills, and will be comfortable leading high-level architectural discussions with senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities 

• Define and deliver IT Architecture Blueprints with a strong focus on Cloud and Security. 

• Lead and facilitate architecture discussions, design sessions, and workshops with business and technical stakeholders. 

• Act as a trusted architectural advisor within banking and financial services environments. 

• Translate business requirements into high-level and detailed architectural designs. 

• Ensure architectural alignment with security, regulatory, and enterprise standards. 

• Collaborate with multiple teams while remaining technology and platform agnostic. 

• Contribute to the organization’s strategic positioning by establishing strong architectural references. 

Required Skills and Experience 

• Proven experience as a Senior IT Architect, ideally within banking or financial services. 

• Demonstrable experience creating architecture blueprints, particularly involving Cloud and Security domains. 

• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles. 

• Ability to lead, influence, and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders. 

• Comfortable running face-to-face workshops and architecture reviews. 

• Technology- and platform-agnostic mindset (no specific vendor or stack expertise required). 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in a professional, senior environment.
