The organisation is undertaking a major digital transformation initiative and is seeking a skilled Test Engineer to contribute to the delivery, quality assurance, and validation of critical information systems.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the overall testing strategy for a large-scale international information-sharing platform.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts covering functional, integration, and performance testing.
- Create and manage comprehensive test cases for interface validation and end-to-end business workflows.
- Perform load, stress, scalability, and reliability testing in distributed environments.
- Support defect identification, analysis, and corrective testing activities to ensure solution quality and stability.
- Contribute to system traceability, auditing, logging capabilities, and the preparation of realistic test data sets.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience as a Test Engineer, QA Engineer, or Software Test Automation Specialist.
- Strong knowledge of automated testing methodologies, test strategy development, and quality assurance best practices.
- Experience testing APIs, system integrations, and complex end-to-end business processes.
- Familiarity with performance, load, scalability, and non-functional testing techniques.
- Experience working within modern software delivery environments, including automated deployment and continuous integration practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
