A well-established organization in the financial sector, focused on delivering high-quality digital solutions and ensuring robust software performance through advanced testing and automation practices. The company is looking for an IT Test Automation Engineer to support its quality assurance processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to test planning activities, including reviewing requirements, participating in design reviews, and advising on test approaches.
- Prepare and execute test campaigns, create test cases, and analyze test results to identify defects and risks.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize automated test scripts and frameworks aligned with business needs.
- Collaborate with developers and business teams to identify automation opportunities and improve software quality.
- Maintain test documentation, including test plans, cases, and automation processes, ensuring traceability and quality standards.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and contribute to continuous improvement of testing methodologies and automation practices.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an IT Tester, preferably within the insurance sector.
- Fluent in Dutch, French, and English (mandatory for the role).
- Strong technical knowledge of testing tools and technologies (ISTQB, REST APIs, SOAP, SQL, XML, HTML, API testing).
- Experience with automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Robot Framework, ReadyAPI) and familiarity with CI/CD environments.
- Basic understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and programming languages such as Java.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills with attention to detail and a team-oriented mindset.
