Data Engineer – Identity & Access Management (IdAM) (m/f/d)
A leading international financial services organization operating in a highly regulated environment. The institution delivers critical technology services supporting secure access, identity governance, and data-driven decision-making across complex, cloud-based IT ecosystems. The organization is strengthening its data capabilities to support identity, security, and access management initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines, automated scripts, and relational database objects to support identity and security data use cases.
- Contribute to the development of integrated data models, ensuring data quality, consistency, and alignment with governance standards.
- Produce clear technical documentation, including data models, entity-relationship diagrams, and functional and technical designs.
- Support testing activities, manage feedback from internal stakeholders, and ensure solutions meet operational requirements.
- Identify and escalate potential security risks within solution designs, considering control and automation impacts.
- Support the operationalization of delivered solutions, including knowledge transfer and handover to support teams.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer delivering production-grade data solutions.
- Strong experience in data modelling, relational database development, and data architecture.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation to support data processing and operational efficiency.
- Hands-on experience with ETL and data integration tools in cloud-based environments.
- Solid understanding of access control principles and identity-related data concepts.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments with strong collaboration and communication skills.
