Functional Analyst / Designer (m/f/d)
A leading organization in Brussels is seeking a Functional Analyst / Designer to support its life business division. The role involves designing and maintaining robust IT applications that manage contract subscriptions, modifications, and portfolio operations. The successful candidate will work across multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, collaborating with business, IT, and testing teams to deliver tailored solutions.
Responsibilities:
· Translate business requirements into structured IT solutions with a functional approach.
· Design user interfaces, business logic, and database architecture for back-end applications.
· Prepare and execute functional integration test cases and validate solutions before delivery.
· Analyze and recommend corrective actions for identified issues.
· Coordinate technical designers and developers during implementation phases.
· Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to ensure solutions meet operational needs.
Qualifications and Skills:
· Proven experience in functional analysis and IT solution design for large-scale projects.
· Strong understanding of administrative systems, Cobol Microfocus, and SQL Server.
· Familiarity with web-based client/server systems and batch processing.
· Excellent communication skills in French, Dutch, and English.
· Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
· Experience in insurance or banking domains, particularly life insurance and contract management.
