A leading financial services organization specializing in investment and securities operations is seeking a Functional Analyst to support the delivery of key initiatives within its investment domain. The role involves bridging business and technology teams to ensure effective analysis, design, and implementation of solutions related to securities transactions and plans.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct Functional Analysis: Translate business needs into functional requirements and ensure alignment with regulatory and operational standards.
• Support Securities Operations: Analyze and enhance systems that manage securities characteristics, transactions, and related services.
• Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with cross-functional teams to define solutions and coordinate testing and implementation activities.
• Maintain System Integrity: Ensure system availability and intervene promptly during critical incidents to minimize disruption.
• Drive Process Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements to tools and workflows for greater efficiency and client-centric service delivery.
• Lead and Mentor: Coach team members, coordinate domain activities, and contribute to knowledge sharing and documentation.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Domain Expertise: Strong understanding of investment instruments such as equities, bonds, and funds, and their associated processes.
• Analytical Proficiency: Ability to perform complex business and functional analysis using modeling tools and techniques.
• Communication Skills: Proficient in FR/NL/EN, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Regulatory Awareness: Familiarity with compliance standards and security requirements in financial services.
• Project Coordination: Experience in planning, task distribution, and progress tracking within multi-disciplinary teams.
• Continuous Learning: Demonstrates a growth mindset and keeps up with industry trends to recommend innovative solutions.
