A major public-sector institution responsible for delivering large-scale digital solutions that support policy implementation and operational activities across an international environment. The organization is seeking a Back-End Developer to contribute to the development and maintenance of scalable, secure, and high‑quality software systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain back-end application components using Java-based technologies, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability.

• Integrate front-end elements with server-side logic and implement core business functionalities using frameworks such as Spring and Spring Boot.

• Design and manage databases, APIs, and data storage solutions across relational and NoSQL environments.

• Troubleshoot issues by analysing code, processes, and system behaviour to identify improvements.

• Ensure adherence to security, authentication, and data protection standards, including SSO and token-based access.

• Produce technical documentation and contribute to the evolution of development standards.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong experience with Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and related back-end frameworks.

• Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP services, messaging systems (e.g., JMS, Kafka), and microservices architecture.

• Proficiency with relational databases (e.g., Oracle) and familiarity with NoSQL technologies.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and DevSecOps practices.

• Knowledge of containerization and cloud environments, including Docker and major cloud providers.

• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within multicultural teams, with strong problem‑solving and organizational skills.
