A large, complex organization operating in a regulated environment is undergoing a major transformation of its core systems. The organization is modernizing legacy applications and adopting a more scalable, event-driven and service-oriented approach to improve resilience, performance, and long-term sustainability. To support this transformation, the organization is seeking an experienced technical leader to drive solution delivery and mentor development teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of a coherent IT solution that meets both functional and non-functional requirements
• Collaborate closely with architects, technical leads, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with the overall solution design
• Ensure compliance with enterprise engineering, architecture, and development standards throughout delivery
• Promote consistency across platforms and teams by organizing solution walkthroughs and design reviews
• Contribute hands-on to development activities while guiding teams through new architectural approaches
• Coach and support less experienced team members, fostering skill development and best practices

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong experience in solution design and system development across the full software delivery lifecycle
• Proven ability to design and implement scalable, modular, and maintainable application architectures
• Solid understanding of modern development practices, including automated testing and continuous improvement
• Experience working in complex, regulated, or enterprise-scale environments
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and mentor others
• Self-motivated, reliable, and capable of delivering high-quality outcomes within agreed timelines
