We are seeking a senior PMO with a strong background in the banking sector to support and govern complex transformation, regulatory, and IT initiatives. The PMO will play a key role in ensuring effective project delivery through robust governance, planning, reporting, and stakeholder coordination.
Responsibilities
Define and maintain PMO governance, standards, and reporting frameworks
Support delivery of banking programmes and projects (business, IT, regulatory)
Consolidate and monitor plans, progress, risks, issues, and dependencies
Produce portfolio and programme reporting for senior management and SteerCos
Track budgets, forecasts, and financial performance
Coordinate key governance forums and stakeholders
Ensure alignment with banking regulations, internal controls, and compliance requirements.
Requirements
Proven experience in a PMO role within banking or financial services
Strong understanding of banking environments (retail, corporate, investment banking, payments, or risk/compliance)
Experience managing large-scale programmes and project portfolios
Solid knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid, SAFe)
Strong reporting, governance, and financial tracking skills
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Ability to work in regulated, multi-stakeholder environments
Exposure to core banking systems, digital transformation, or IT modernization
Understanding of enterprise PM tools (Clarity, Jira, MS Project, Planview, ServiceNow)
