Service Architect Microsoft Azure/M365 (m/f/d)

A large enterprise undergoing an extensive digital transformation, focusing on modernizing cloud platforms, strengthening operational governance, and enabling secure, scalable, and resilient digital services. The organization is seeking a Service Architect to design and oversee end‑to‑end cloud service models across its technology ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the design and governance of cloud service architectures, ensuring services are operable, supportable, and aligned with enterprise standards and service management frameworks.
• Define service models, integration patterns, support structures, SLAs/OLAs, and lifecycle requirements across cloud platforms and enterprise applications.
• Collaborate with technical, security, and platform teams to translate solutions into sustainable services that meet operational, regulatory, and governance expectations.
• Oversee service design deliverables and ensure readiness documentation, monitoring requirements, and support models are complete for operational handover.
• Guide service transition activities, including readiness reviews, acceptance criteria, knowledge transfer, and integration into IT service management processes.
• Identify and manage service‑related risks, dependencies, and constraints to maintain service continuity, compliance, and stability in evolving cloud environments.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Strong understanding of cloud service architecture, including compute, storage, networking, identity, and platform integrations within enterprise environments.
• Practical experience applying ITIL service design and transition principles to cloud‑based services and hybrid operating models.
• In‑depth knowledge of identity and access management concepts, including authentication, authorization, and secure service‑to‑service integration.
• Experience governing cloud services at scale, ensuring compliance, operability, and alignment with governance frameworks and best practices.
• Familiarity with regulatory, security, and data‑protection requirements typical of controlled or highly regulated environments.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with global teams, navigating cross‑functional dependencies and structured change‑control processes.
