We are looking for a System Architect to join our client, an EU Institution based in Brussels.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Microsoft Exchange on-premise architecture across multiple versions (2012/2013/2019).
- Provide expert-level (SME) support and guidance on Exchange and Terminal Server environments.
- Lead and execute Exchange upgrade, migration, and modernization initiatives.
- Automate administrative and operational tasks using PowerShell scripting.
- Monitor, maintain, and ensure systems are updated with the latest patches and security standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure incidents, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Support file migration activities from Windows Server environments to OpenText solutions and contribute to operational support (on-call/shift-based).
Requirements
- Microsoft oriented infrastructure engineer
- Familiar with Microsoft Exchange On-Premise environment
- SME and architectural support for Exchange Server 2012 / 2013 / 2019 environments and Terminal Server
- PowerShell scripting and automation
- Ensuring Exchange environments remain at the latest supported patch and update levels
- Planning and execution of future Exchange upgrade activities
- Participation in file migration activities from Windows Server environments to OpenText solutions
- Handling of operational support activities, including early shift/late shift/ & on-call activities where required
- Investigation, diagnosis, and resolution of Windows and Microsoft infrastructure related incidents and requests
