About the Opportunity
We are partnering exclusively with a high-growth, venture-backed B2B SAAS platform in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This business is the dominant player in its niche, serving over thousands of clients across multiple sectors with approximately $20m in ARR. Backed by top-tier VC investors following a record-breaking Series A, they are on a clear trajectory to scale to 10,000+ customers and beyond.

This is not a stewardship role. This is a "Fix & Build" mandate for a seasoned finance leader who thrives in the chaos of hyper-growth. We are looking for a former "number two" or "number three" from a high-growth B2B SaaS or Fintech scale-up who has been on the journey from "startup" to "scale-up" and knows how to build the plane while flying it.

The Role
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be the architect of the company's financial infrastructure. The current finance function is lean and the business is at a critical inflection point. The board needs clarity, the investors need confidence, and the CEO needs a partner who can bring order to complexity.

Your mandate is twofold:

1. Phase 1 (Fix): Immediately stabilize the financial core. Sort the MI, fix the cash flow visibility, own the board pack, and implement robust internal controls.

2. Phase 2 (Build): Once the foundation is solid, build the FP&A function, own the SaaS metrics narrative (ARR, NRR, CAC, LTV), lead the systems implementation, and prepare the business for its Series B.

What You Will Own

• Financial Clarity: You will own the accuracy and timeliness of the monthly numbers, cash flow forecasting, and board-level reporting. You will transform raw data into actionable insights.

• Operational Rigor: You will implement the policies, procedures, and internal controls that a scaling business needs to survive. You will professionalize the function without killing the culture.

• Strategic Finance: You will build the multi-year financial models that support strategic decisions, pricing analysis, and new market entry. You will be the CEO's thought partner on all commercial matters.

• SaaS Metrics: You will establish the "single source of truth" for key metrics. You will partner with Sales and Customer Success to understand unit economics, cohort performance, and revenue leakage.

• Systems & Scale: You will lead the evaluation and implementation of the financial systems (ERP, billing, BI tools) required to support a business scaling. 

• Capital Management: You will manage the deployment of the recent Series A capital and begin laying the groundwork for the Series B narrative and fundraising process.

• Team Leadership: You will mentor the existing team and act as a player-coach, building out the function as the company grows.

Who You Are

• The "Fix & Build" Specialist: You have 8-12 years of experience and are currently a Finance Director, Head of Finance, or Senior Finance Manager at a high-growth B2B SaaS or Fintech company (c. $15m-$50m ARR). You have walked into a "messy" data environment before and successfully established order.

• Operationally Obsessed: You are deeply hands-on. You can build a three-statement model from scratch and are not afraid to jump into the ERP to fix a broken reconciliation on a Thursday afternoon.

• SaaS Fluent: You know ARR, NRR, and CAC inside out. You can explain the difference between cash and accruals to a non-finance founder without breaking a sweat.

• The Steady Hand: You are calm under pressure. You bring solutions, not problems. You thrive in fast-paced, informal  environments and have the emotional intelligence to instill structure without causing a cultural revolt.

• Technically Proficient: You have advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills, experience with major ERPs (NetSuite, Xero, Odoo), and ideally, familiarity with SaaS billing platforms (Chargebee, Stripe, Zuora).

• Credentialed: You hold a professional accounting qualification (CPA, CA, CMA, or equivalent).
