IT Finance Business Analyst / Functional & Technical Expert (m/f/d)

Our client is looking for a functional and technical business analyst. You will join a large organization undergoing a major transformation of its Finance operating model.
The objective is to review, redesign, and implement end‑to‑end Finance processes across multiple domains such as accounting, controlling, procurement, and financial reporting, supported by modern IT solutions.
The role is positioned at the intersection of business, finance, and IT, with a strong involvement throughout the full lifecycle of a transformation program, from analysis and design to implementation and deployment.
Responsibilities:
· Analyze existing finance and accounting processes and identify optimization opportunities.
· Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
· Contribute to the selection, design, and implementation of finance‑related IT solutions.
· Participate in solution design activities (scoping, functional architecture, documentation).
· Coordinate multiple stakeholders (finance teams, IT, external partners, vendors).
· Support testing, deployment, and change management activities to ensure successful adoption.
Qualifications and Skills:
· Strong experience in Finance and Accounting processes (e.g. GL, AP/AR, budgeting, forecasting, closing, reporting).
· Proven involvement in IT finance transformation projects (ERP, accounting or reporting tools).
· Dual profile with both functional and technical understanding.
· Ability to work closely with technical teams and challenge proposed solutions when needed.
· Solid understanding of IT project lifecycles and delivery methodologies.
· Professional proficiency in French and English.
