A leading financial sector organization operating in a highly regulated environment, offering a wide range of services across health and risk management solutions. The organization is focused on strengthening its IT governance and compliance capabilities to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, group policies, and industry standards.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and ensure IT departments comply with regulatory requirements, internal standards, and group policies.
- Act as the main point of contact between IT and Risk Management/Information Security teams for risk assessments and related activities (e.g., asset-based and control-based assessments).
- Coordinate and track the implementation of IT governance initiatives, including business continuity and internal control frameworks.
- Manage and follow up on risk mitigation actions, ensuring timely delivery and proper escalation when deadlines are at risk.
- Prepare and deliver regular reports and presentations to IT leadership and risk stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes through automation and efficiency enhancements.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in IT governance, risk, or compliance roles with end-to-end coordination responsibilities.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, IT risk management, and compliance standards.
- Excellent reporting and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively to stakeholders.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are considered an asset.
- Analytical mindset, well-organized, and results-oriented approach.
- Proactive attitude with a strong commitment to quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
