Non-Functional Performance Test Engineer (m/f/d)

A leading European public-sector organization focused on delivering large?scale digital systems is seeking a Performance Testing Specialist to support the quality, reliability, and scalability of its mission?critical platforms. The role involves working within a highly regulated, multicultural environment to ensure systems meet stringent performance and capacity requirements.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain end?to?end performance testing strategies for complex software and hardware systems.
• Prepare and update performance test plans, including scenario design, workload modeling, and test data preparation.
• Execute a range of performance tests such as load, stress, endurance, and capacity assessments.
• Analyze system behavior—including resource utilization and application responsiveness—to identify bottlenecks and performance issues.
• Collaborate with cross?functional teams to troubleshoot performance problems and recommend improvements.
• Produce clear performance reports and support stakeholders in understanding results and required actions.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Strong experience in performance testing across the full software development lifecycle.
• Expertise in designing test strategies, estimating workloads, and defining performance scenarios.
• Ability to analyze system metrics and identify issues related to memory, connections, or resource consumption.
• Skilled in documenting findings and presenting recommendations to technical and non?technical audiences.
• Strong communication abilities and experience working in international or multicultural environments.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in performance testing for complex software and hardware systems.
Preliminary Requirements
• Candidate must be a citizen of a European Union member state.
• Candidate must be able to obtain a valid criminal record certificate.
