AWS DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement automated AWS infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code tools and reusable modules.
• Build and operate CI/CD pipelines supporting application and platform deployments across AWS environments.
• Improve system reliability, scalability, and operational resilience through automation and sound engineering practices.
• Support capacity management and implement automated scaling strategies to meet workload demands.
• Collaborate with platform, security, and application teams through structured workflows and peer review processes.
• Optimize AWS cloud costs through right-sizing, tagging strategies, and architectural improvements.
• Continuously improve skills, document solutions clearly, and keep pace with AWS innovation.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS/EKS, and related tooling.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling, automation frameworks, and scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
• Solid understanding of cloud cost models and optimization techniques.
• End-to-end ownership mindset for delivery and operational outcomes.
• Strong commitment to automation and standardization as default approaches.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to document and present solutions clearly.
• Experience working collaboratively across multi-functional teams in agile delivery environments.
