Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
PE-Backed Tech-Enabled Services | IPO-Bound

We are partnering with a successful mid-market private equity firm as they seek to appoint a CFO for their B2B tech-enabled services portfolio company based in Riyadh. 

The Role:

• Partner directly with the CEO and the Board to architect the financial and strategic future of the business.

• Spearhead Capital Strategy & M&A: Oversee the strategic deployment of private equity capital to fuel organic growth, strategic partnerships, and acquisitions.

• Build a Scalable, Compliant Finance Function: Architect a world-class finance infrastructure, implementing robust FP&A, operational KPIs, and management reporting to provide crystal-clear visibility for the Board and support rapid expansion.

• Champion Robust Tax & Regulatory Governance: Develop and oversee a comprehensive framework for tax strategy, compliance, and risk management across multiple jurisdictions (including GCC and EMEA), ensuring adherence to all local and international financial regulations.

• Drive Value Creation as a Strategic Partner: Act as a crucial liaison between the company, the investors, and external stakeholders (banks, auditors) to execute on the vision and maximize value.

What We're Looking For:

• Proven financial leadership experience, ideally within tech-enabled services, technology, or high-growth scaling environments.

• Previous IPO experience is not a prerequisite, however exposure to M&A, capital deployment, or complex transactions is highly valued.

• Must be based in Riyadh or willing to relocate permanently—this role requires full immersion in the local market, and candidates commuting from elsewhere in the GCC will not be preferred.

• Arabic speaker is essential—the ability to communicate fluently with local stakeholders, regulators, and partners is a critical requirement for this role.

• Deep expertise in financial reporting, governance, treasury, and investor relations.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, PE-backed environment and partner strategically with stakeholders.

• Big 4 background combined with in-house experience is highly regarded.
