A large professional services organization operating in a complex, technology-driven environment, delivering advisory and transformation services across multiple industries. The organization is seeking a senior data leader to define and drive its enterprise data vision while overseeing strategic data initiatives and delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Own and execute an enterprise-wide data strategy aligned with business and technology objectives.
• Lead data governance initiatives, ensuring compliance, ethical data usage, and data quality across the organization.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration by coordinating a virtual data community of practice.
• Drive the adoption of modern data platforms and environments, including cloud-native, real-time data streaming, and AI/ML-ready solutions.
• Act as a key liaison between business and technical stakeholders, translating needs into actionable data initiatives.
• Establish structured ways of working, including governance frameworks, documentation, and performance tracking.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience in senior data leadership roles within complex IT or technology-driven environments.
• Strong expertise in data governance, data architecture, and data engineering principles.
• Hands-on experience with modern data platforms such as Databricks, Collibra, Denodo, or similar technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to drive organizational adoption of data strategies and ways of working.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of additional local languages is considered an asset.
