Digital Lab Solutions Analyst & ELN Developer (m/f/d)

A technical R&D environment is looking to strengthen its digital capabilities by deploying and enhancing an Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN) used across various laboratory teams.
The goal is to modernize data capture, streamline documentation workflows, and progressively connect the ELN to instruments, lab systems, and internal databases to improve automation and data flow efficiency.
The role sits at the intersection of laboratory operations, digital tools, and IT systems, supporting teams involved in experimental work and method development.
Responsibilities:
· Configure, customize, and maintain ELN templates, workflows and digital components to support laboratory activities.
· Participate in the evolution of the ELN platform, including upcoming migrations (desktop → web → cloud).
· Support system integrations with lab instruments, data repositories, and digital platforms through APIs and connectors.
· Collaborate with laboratory users, IT teams, and digital stakeholders to translate operational needs into technical solutions.
· Contribute to broader digital initiatives aimed at improving data flows, automation, and overall lab efficiency.
· Track project activities, enhancements, and issues using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
Qualifications and Skills:
· Hands‑on experience configuring or developing ELN systems, ideally with IDBS or similar platforms.
· Strong technical mindset with a solid understanding of digital lab ecosystems and system integrations.
· Previous involvement in laboratory digitalization or scientific software implementation projects.
· Ability to communicate effectively with both scientific end‑users and IT teams.
· Proficiency in English and another European language for collaboration with diverse user groups.
· Adaptable, autonomous, and comfortable working in evolving environments with changing priorities.
