Lead Solution Architect (m/f/d)
A leading international organization operating in the financial services sector, recognized for its commitment to modernization, operational excellence, and customer‑centric transformation. The company is seeking a freelance Lead Solution Architect to support a large‑scale strategic review of its IT landscape and guide future architectural direction.
Responsibilities:
· Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the current IT ecosystem, including core systems and surrounding applications.
· Review relevant documentation, prior analyses, and architectural insights to consolidate findings.
· Facilitate workshops and interviews with internal teams and external stakeholders across multiple countries.
· Develop a synthesized analysis outlining architectural options and cost‑efficient scenarios.
· Evaluate integration models, data flows, regulatory considerations, and overall system stability.
· Present a clear roadmap with actionable recommendations, including quick wins and mid‑term transformation steps.
Qualifications and Skills:
· Proven experience as a Project Manager and/or Solution Architect within the financial or insurance sector.
· Strong understanding of enterprise systems landscapes, including operational and data‑driven platforms.
· Ability to work autonomously, challenge existing structures, and propose innovative solutions.
· Experience collaborating within multinational environments and varied provider ecosystems.
· Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation capabilities.
· Solid knowledge of regulatory expectations relevant to the industry.
