Platform Engineer specialising in Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD automation, with strong focus on Terraform and Azure DevOps YAML pipelines. Responsible for the implementation, evolution, and adoption of the JFrog platform, enabling secure and standardised software delivery through reusable pipeline templates (golden paths). Hands-on experience with automation and scripting using Bash and PowerShell, combined with a strong platform and customer-support mindset.
Role Purpose
Design, operate, and continuously improve the artifact repository manager platform and its CI/CD golden paths. Maintain and extend platform capabilities using Terraform and scripting, develop and govern Azure DevOps pipeline templates, and actively support application teams through onboarding, migration, training, and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and build the migration timeline for application teams with all the steps required for a successful migration.
• Build and maintain Azure DevOps YAML pipelines and reusable pipeline templates representing CI/CD golden paths.
• Support application teams migrating to the defined golden paths, performing hands-on assistance where required.
• Integrate artifact repository manager capabilities into CI/CD pipelines (build, scan, publish, promote, and consume artifacts).
• Produce and maintain high-quality documentation, user guides, and onboarding materials.
• Deliver trainings, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions for application teams.
• Act as a trusted technical contact for platform usage, CI/CD best practices, and troubleshooting.
• Design, implement, and maintain the artifact repository manager platform using Terraform, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance.
• Develop, version, and govern Terraform modules and platform configurations.
• Automate operational tasks and platform extensions using Bash and PowerShell scripts.
• Ensure platform reliability through monitoring, upgrades, and continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Experience
• Solid experience with Azure DevOps and authoring CI/CD pipelines using YAML.
• Experience designing and maintaining reusable pipeline templates and golden paths.
• Good understanding of artifact management concepts and software supply chain practices.
• Experience supporting and enabling application teams in adopting platform services.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform for platform and infrastructure automation.
• Experience with JFrog Artifactory or Nexus repository manager and related ecosystem tools & services.
Nice to Have
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices (SCA, SBOMs, artifact promotion, provenance).
• Familiarity with container-based build and delivery workflows.
• Experience working in regulated or enterprise environments.
