Senior Manager – Risk Management & Compliance (UAE National / Emirati) (m/f/d)

Lead and oversee the company's risk management and compliance function by establishing and maintaining an enterprise-wide framework for governance, risk, compliance, and internal control, ensuring that strategic, operational, financial, regulatory, and reputational risks are identified, assessed, managed, monitored, and reported effectively to safeguard the organization and support the achievement of its strategic objectives.

Qualifications 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Law, or a related discipline is required.
  • A master’s degree will be considered an advantage.
  • Relevant professional certifications such as CRM, CRMA, CIA, CISA, CAMS, or an equivalent governance, risk, and compliance qualification will be considered a strong advantage.
  • A minimum of 8 to 10 years of progressive professional experience in enterprise risk management, compliance, governance, internal control, audit, or related disciplines.
  • At least 4 years of experience in a managerial or senior leadership role.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing risk frameworks, conducting enterprise risk assessments, monitoring compliance obligations, strengthening internal controls, and reporting to executive leadership.
  • Experience within the UAE and knowledge of the regulatory and governance environment applicable to service-oriented organizations are highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities 
  • Enterprise Risk Management Framework - Establish, maintain, and continuously enhance the company's enterprise risk management framework, including risk governance, risk appetite, risk registers, assessment methodologies, and reporting mechanisms, ensuring effective identification, evaluation, treatment, and monitoring of risks across the organization.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Oversight - Develop and oversee the compliance management framework to ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, internal policies, ethical standards, and governance requirements, while monitoring regulatory developments and advising management on their impact on the company's operations and obligations.
  • Internal Control and Assurance Coordination - Strengthen the internal control environment by coordinating control assessments, monitoring remediation actions, supporting policy and procedure reviews, and working closely with internal and external assurance providers to address control gaps, audit findings, and compliance issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Governance, Reporting, and Advisory - Provide independent and value-adding advice to the CEO and senior management on governance, risk exposure, compliance status, and control effectiveness, and prepare clear, timely, and insightful reports, dashboards, and recommendations to support strategic decision-making and organizational resilience
  • Risk Culture, Awareness, and Team Leadership - Promote a strong culture of integrity, accountability, and risk awareness across the company's through training, communication, and engagement initiatives, while leading and developing the Risk Management & Compliance team to deliver high standards of professional performance and continuous improvement.
