Regulatory & Compliance Specialist – Group Life Operations

Join a dynamic team as a Regulatory & Compliance Specialist focused on Group Life operations. This mission offers a unique opportunity to contribute to regulatory excellence, streamline internal processes, and support operational teams through hands-on training and documentation.

? Mission Objective

Provide backfill support to ensure regulatory compliance and process optimization within Group Life activities. You’ll be part of a dedicated taskforce driving improvements in internal controls, documentation, and backlog resolution.

? Expected Deliverables

• Documentation of current (“AS IS”) processes.
• Revision and update of process flows and procedures.
• Definition of internal control frameworks for regulatory controls.
• Full resolution of backlog related to regulatory alerts.
• Development and delivery of training materials for internal staff.

? Role & Responsibilities

• Analyze and document existing processes (e.g., AML, UBO monitoring, FinScan/ComplyAdvantage alerts).
• Identify gaps and revise procedures accordingly, in alignment with corporate and compliance teams.
• Define and document internal control mechanisms and monitoring strategies for business-as-usual (BAU) rollout.
• Lead a 2-person taskforce, coordinating activities and ensuring timely resolution of regulatory alerts.
• Maintain strong communication loops with the Compliance team.
• Prepare and deliver training sessions to internal staff.
• Plan and execute a smooth handover of taskforce responsibilities.

? Knowledge & Tools

• Solid understanding of Group Life business in Belgium and its regulatory environment.
• Familiarity with tools such as FinScan, ComplyAdvantage, or similar platforms.
