We are currently seeking a highly capable and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer with a strong understanding of submarine systems. This role blends project management responsibilities with technical design expertise, focusing on managing mechanical engineering projects, collaborating with internal teams, and ensuring the successful procurement of necessary components.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage mechanical engineering projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Demonstrate strong project management acumen, including the ability to develop project plans, track progress, and mitigate risks.
• Collaborate effectively with internal mechanical teams and make informed decisions based on solid technical depth in mechanical engineering.
• Take ownership of the development roadmap and matrix for assigned projects.
• Contribute to the procurement process for mechanical components and systems.
• Apply a thorough understanding of mechanical principles to design robust and efficient mechanical systems.
• Demonstrate proficiency in mechanical drafting and the interpretation of technical drawings.
• Utilize calculation and simulation expertise to define accurate technical specifications for mechanical components and systems.
• Possess a strong knowledge of various manufacturing processes relevant to mechanical engineering design and production.
• Exhibit crisp and strong communication skills to effectively convey technical information, project updates, and requirements to diverse audiences.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer, with significant experience involving submarine systems or related marine technologies.
• Demonstrated project management skills, including experience in leading technical projects.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and the ability to design mechanical systems from concept to implementation.
• Proficiency in mechanical drafting software and the ability to interpret and create technical drawings.
• Expertise in performing calculations and simulations to define technical specifications.
• Solid knowledge of various manufacturing processes relevant to mechanical engineering.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present technical information clearly and concisely.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
