Finance Analyst - UAEN Only
We are looking for an experienced Finance Analytics professional to drive financial reporting, analytics, and dashboard initiatives across the organization. This role combines strong finance domain expertise with hands-on SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) capabilities to deliver insightful, data-driven solutions that support budgeting, forecasting, performance monitoring, fund oversight, and executive decision-making.
The successful candidate will partner closely with Finance, Business Operations, and leadership teams to transform complex financial and operational data into meaningful insights, improve reporting efficiency, and enhance visibility through modern analytics platforms.
Experience & Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience across Finance, Business Analytics, Management Reporting, and ERP-based reporting environments.
- Professional finance qualification preferred (MBA Finance, CA, ACCA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent).
- Strong practical experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), including dashboard development, planning, and reporting.
- Solid understanding of core finance processes and reporting cycles.
- Experience working with multiple enterprise data sources, including SAP S/4HANA, Oracle applications, CRM systems, and other structured or manual datasets.
- Proven track record of delivering analytics solutions for finance and business stakeholders.
Finance Domain Expertise
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, fund utilization, and expenditure analysis.
- Experience in cash management, payment operations, advances tracking, and financial service-level reporting.
- Ability to analyze periodic financial performance and management reporting packs.
- Understanding of portfolio management and performance measurement across financial, operational, project, and risk perspectives.
- Ability to interpret financial metrics and convert them into actionable business recommendations.
- Comfortable engaging with senior finance leadership and supporting strategic discussions.
- Ensure reporting governance through appropriate controls, documentation, and access management.
- Enable detailed drill-down analysis from executive summaries to transaction-level reporting.
SAP Analytics Cloud & Reporting Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle of analytics initiatives, from data discovery and analysis through dashboard delivery.
- Design and develop interactive SAC dashboards covering financial performance, planning, forecasting, portfolio tracking, and operational reporting.
- Modernize traditional Excel and PowerPoint reporting by converting them into automated, real-time analytics solutions.
- Partner with business users to define reporting requirements and analytical use cases.
- Support testing and validation activities related to finance system enhancements and reporting changes.
- Maintain master data structures including cost centers, GL accounts, fund hierarchies, and related financial dimensions.
- Contribute to annual budgeting and consolidation processes through automation and optimization.
- Develop rolling forecast models with scenario planning and what-if analysis capabilities.
- Build proactive dashboards highlighting budget variances, spending trends, financial risks, and control exceptions.
- Support integration of finance data with project management and operational systems.
- Develop analytical models to evaluate project performance, investment outcomes, and resource utilization.
- Support governance, audit, and compliance requirements through structured and accurate data extraction.
- Identify reporting inefficiencies and recommend process improvements.
- Promote data accuracy through reconciliation, validation, and quality assurance practices.
- Analyze trends, risks, opportunities, and key business drivers across multiple datasets.
- Create executive-level visualizations and presentations that support informed decision-making.
Stakeholder Management & Leadership
- Partner with senior finance leaders and key business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytical requirements.
- Translate business needs into scalable analytics solutions.
- Deliver clear presentations and communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrate strong ownership, accountability, and a results-oriented approach.
- Apply structured problem-solving techniques to drive continuous improvement across reporting and analytics processes.
