Project Manager - Business Process Re-engineering 

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead strategic transformation and process improvement initiatives within a leading financial services environment.

This role will be responsible for managing medium to large-scale programmes and projects, driving business transformation, process optimization, and regulatory initiatives. The successful candidate will oversee end-to-end project delivery, including planning, governance, stakeholder management, implementation, and benefit realization, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to business objectives.

The ideal candidate will possess strong project management expertise, experience delivering complex change programmes, and a proven ability to work across multiple business functions in a highly regulated environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop future-state operating models, value stream maps, implementation plans, project documentation, timelines, and milestones.
  • Lead end-to-end project management activities to ensure successful delivery against agreed scope, timelines, and budget.
  • Apply project management methodologies and frameworks, including Agile, Lean Six Sigma, and Business Process Reengineering (BPR).
  • Drive large-scale business transformation and process improvement initiatives across multiple business units.
  • Develop and deliver project reports, business cases, proposals, presentations, and stakeholder updates.
  • Define, monitor, and manage project KPIs to measure programme success and business outcomes.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews and measure project performance against baseline metrics and industry benchmarks.
  • Manage cross-functional programmes involving regulatory compliance, operational improvements, and strategic initiatives.
  • Identify, track, and mitigate project risks, issues, dependencies, and resource constraints.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders to ensure alignment, governance, and successful programme execution.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and foster a culture of operational excellence.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Project Management, preferably within banking or financial services.
  • Proven experience delivering large-scale transformation, regulatory, or process improvement programmes.
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Project Management methodologies
    • Business Process Reengineering (BPR)
    • Agile Delivery Frameworks
    • Lean Six Sigma Principles
  • Experience managing cross-functional programmes with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong programme governance, budgeting, reporting, and risk management capabilities.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Quality Management, Finance, or a related field.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred.
