We are looking for an experienced Functional Safety Engineer. You will work within a multidisciplinary engineering environment to ensure compliance with functional safety standards and support the delivery of safety-critical products.
Responsibilities:
· Analyze and assess the impact of system and product changes on functional safety.
· Review and interpret customer and internal safety requirements.
· Develop and maintain Technical Safety Concepts and related safety deliverables.
· Collaborate with system, hardware, and software teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
· Support safety analyses and evaluations at system, hardware, and software levels.
· Contribute to the verification and validation of safety-related work products.
· Provide guidance on ISO 26262 compliance and best practices.
· Support safety planning, reviews, and technical discussions with stakeholders.
· Promote a strong safety culture across engineering teams.
Qualifications and Skills:
· Minimum 7 years of experience in automotive electronics development.
· Strong background in safety-critical embedded systems.
· Experience working on electrified vehicle technologies, power electronics, or high-voltage systems.
· Solid understanding of ISO 26262 and functional safety processes.
· Experience with safety analyses and safety concept development.
· Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and international teams.
