Infrastructure Project Manager (m/f/d)

Contract
Luxembourg, Luxembourg
08.04.2026

On behalf of our client, a private and wealth management bank, we are looking for an Infrastructure Project Manager, with experience in monitoring and/or observability projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design & implement components of the new global observability platform (metrics, logs, traces, dashboards).
  • Consolidate existing tools into a single user entry point, ensuring consistent observability across all environments (VMs, on‑premise, Kubernetes, cloud).
  • Enable full correlation across logs, metrics, and traces to streamline troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis.
  • Automate onboarding and configuration, eliminating manual processes related to monitoring setup, alert creation, dashboards, and user access.
  • Enable shift‑left practices, providing self‑service observability configuration capabilities “as code” for development teams.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, development, and system management teams to modernize existing monitoring services and migrate workloads to the new platform.
  • Contribute to platform selection, supporting the evaluation of Dynatrace SaaS vs. Grafana Cloud as the core of the future solution.
  • Support performance engineering services, ensuring seamless integration with load testing, synthetic monitoring, and performance analysis workflows.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with observability, SRE, monitoring, or platform engineering.
  • Hands‑on knowledge of tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, Splunk, ELK, OpenTelemetry or similar.
  • Solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and cloud or Kubernetes environments.
  • Strong automation and scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash, Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD pipelines).
  • Experience designing dashboards, alerts, logs or trace pipelines.
  • Ability to collaborate cross‑functionally with development, infrastructure, and operations teams.
  • A product/platform mindset with focus on self‑service and developer experience.
