A leading global financial market infrastructure organisation providing critical services to the financial industry. The company operates in a highly regulated environment where the protection of information assets and operational resilience are essential. They are currently looking for a Senior Project Leader to support large-scale information security initiatives within a central security function.


Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of complex information security projects, from initiation to production deployment, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage project scope, planning, budget, resources, risks, and quality to ensure successful delivery within agreed timelines.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across IT, security, and business units, ensuring effective collaboration and stakeholder alignment.
  • Monitor progress, manage issues and risks, and implement corrective actions while providing regular reporting to governance bodies.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet required standards, are fully tested, and are successfully transitioned to operational teams.
  • Apply governance frameworks and methodologies to maintain compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience in managing large-scale IT or information security projects within complex and regulated environments.
  • Strong understanding of information security domains, including identity and access management and infrastructure-related security topics.
  • Excellent project management skills, including planning, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
  • Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams while influencing stakeholders at various levels of the organisation.
  • Experience working with structured project delivery methodologies and familiarity with agile approaches.
  • Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, with strong communication skills and fluency in English.
