Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure continuous compliance with ISO 27001 standards through regular monitoring and maintenance.
  • Perform risk assessments and gap analyses to identify weaknesses in security governance frameworks.
  • Develop, update, and review information security policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines in alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and enhance deployed security technologies by refining configurations, developing use cases, and adapting to evolving threat landscapes.
  • Establish and maintain robust data governance and data security frameworks.
  • Design and deliver security awareness and training programs across the organization.
  • Coordinate internal and external audit activities, including evidence gathering, conducting walkthroughs, and tracking remediation actions.
  • Serve as a key liaison between security, IT, business units, and auditors to ensure alignment on security and compliance expectations.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation repositories, including policies, procedures, risk assessments, and audit records.
  • Manage the information security risk register, ensuring risks are accurately recorded, assessed, prioritized, and monitored.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA, and/or CEH are required.

Professional Experience & Skills:

  • Strong technical understanding of networking concepts and infrastructure.
  • Practical experience in cloud security and data governance (e.g., Microsoft Azure).
  • Solid knowledge of network, system, and software security principles.
  • Familiarity with ISO 27001 and NIST frameworks, including implementation practices.
  • Experience with penetration testing and vulnerability management.
  • Knowledge of security technologies such as antivirus, firewalls, and IDS/IPS.
  • Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
