We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our digital team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about delivering high-quality user experiences and ensuring that our eCommerce solutions meet the highest standards of performance, usability, and compliance. You will play a key role in shaping the testing strategy, collaborating across teams, and driving continuous improvement in quality assurance practices.

Main Responsibilities:

• Review requirements and technical documentation to provide timely and constructive feedback before development begins.
• Create structured test plans and cases to guide the testing process and ensure comprehensive coverage.
• Estimate, prioritise, and coordinate testing activities in alignment with development cycles.
• Design and execute automation scripts using open-source tools to streamline testing and improve efficiency.
• Identify, document, and track defects thoroughly to support effective resolution by development teams.
• Conduct thorough regression testing to validate bug fixes and ensure system stability.
• Adopt a user-centred approach to ensure requirements and tests align with UX standards and deliver usable outcomes.
• Collaborate with internal teams (developers, product managers, product owners, Digital Quality) to define system requirements, including those related to data privacy, GxP, SOX, and cybersecurity.
• Monitor and report on QA metrics, such as defect density and open defect counts.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Experience in behavioural testing focused on user experience validation.
• Proficiency with automated testing tools and test script development.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools such as JIRA, X-Ray, and Confluence.
• Strong understanding of Agile practices and experience working within SCRUM teams.
• Experience testing single-page applications with complex user flows.
• Desirable but not essential: experience with SAP e-commerce, SAP Hybris, or SAP Commerce Cloud, including system integration.
