A major international financial services organisation operating within a highly regulated and business-critical environment. The organisation is currently seeking a Senior Transversal Project Delivery Lead to coordinate complex, large-scale IT initiatives involving multiple teams, business areas, and strategic stakeholders. This role will focus on ensuring strong governance, alignment, execution, and delivery quality across major transformation programmes designed to improve operational resilience, scalability, and long-term technology capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex transversal IT initiatives, ensuring alignment on scope, planning, budget, quality, risks, and expected outcomes.
- Coordinate multiple teams, domains, and stakeholders to ensure dependencies are managed effectively across projects, releases, and wider programmes.
- Ensure delivery governance is followed, including documentation, approvals, reporting, control checks, and closure activities.
- Engage with senior stakeholders, business owners, architects, risk, security, operations, and delivery teams to drive alignment and decision-making.
- Prepare and lead governance forums, steering committees, executive updates, and clear status reporting covering progress, risks, issues, and decisions required.
- Identify, assess, and manage risks, issues, budgets, forecasts, and delivery value throughout the programme lifecycle.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong experience in project or programme management within complex IT environments, ideally involving large-scale transversal initiatives.
- Proven ability to coordinate multiple teams and stakeholders across different business, technical, operational, and governance areas.
- Good understanding of IT governance, control frameworks, delivery lifecycle management, financial tracking, and regulatory expectations.
- Experience working in agile, hybrid, or structured delivery environments with strong focus on planning, execution, and delivery discipline.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills, including in international or distributed environments.
- Strong analytical, risk management, decision-making, organisational, and leadership skills, with the ability to operate in a fast-paced and complex environment.
