Our client, an international insurance company, based in Luxembourg is looking for a new Underwritter (M/F) 

Main responsibilities:
• Provide technical support to underwriting and reinsurance placement activities for new and renewal accounts of local and international corporate clients across the EU to ensure they are in accordance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
• Support administrative activities including data entry, premium calculations, documentation checks and reinsurance premium payment.
• Assist in the formulation of underwriting guidelines, premium rating tariff and corresponding standards, instructions and good practices to minimize risks and maximize efficiency.
• Provide technical expertise for product wording development, supported by internal and external legal resources for corporate clients.
• Coordinate with internal departments and intra-group entities to ensure smooth program execution.
• Liaise with brokers and clients on policy-related queries and follow-ups in a timely manner.
• Develop and maintain relationships with brokers and reinsurers in support of business retention and acquisition.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in the Property line with good multi-lines 
underwriting/claim/broking or reinsurance knowledge.
• Proven experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex issues, as well as creating and delivering programs that address the needs of multiple or large accounts on time.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English; Proficiency in French/Dutch will be an asset.
• Self-starter, proactive, results-oriented, and execution oriented.
• Highly PC literate in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, etc.
