A leading international financial services organisation operating in a highly regulated environment, providing a wide range of banking, investment, and financial solutions. The organisation is seeking a Risk Assessment Coordinator to support the execution and governance of supplier risk assessments, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal risk management standards.

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of supplier risk assessments by coordinating risk reviews, validating risk ratings, and ensuring appropriate mitigation measures are identified.
  • Manage assessment activities by tracking milestones, collecting required documentation, and ensuring timely completion in line with governance schedules.
  • Review supplier-provided information, facilitate expert input, and contribute to the evaluation of supplier risk maturity and residual risks.
  • Coordinate communications between business stakeholders, risk specialists, suppliers, and governance bodies throughout the assessment lifecycle.
  • Identify potential delivery or compliance risks, escalate issues when necessary, and ensure corrective actions are followed through.
  • Prepare assessment summaries, reports, and governance documentation for review and decision-making committees.

Qualifications and Skills

  • 2–5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, vendor management, risk management, or a related business function.
  • Strong understanding of supplier risk assessment processes and governance within regulated environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior-level stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organisational and coordination capabilities, including the ability to manage multiple concurrent activities and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a practical approach to risk and compliance challenges.
  • Experience within financial services or other highly regulated industries is considered an advantage.
