Data Protection Officer (DPO) (m/f/d)

A leading organization committed to advancing data governance, regulatory compliance, and responsible digital transformation is currently seeking a Data Protection Officer (DPO) to ensure full compliance with the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), KSA regulatory requirements, and all applicable national data governance frameworks. The role requires a strong command of data protection principles, regulatory interpretation, and practical implementation within Saudi Arabia.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee full compliance with the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) and national data governance regulations.
• Interpret and implement regulatory requirements issued by GDBR / SDAIA and other relevant authorities.
• Develop, maintain, and monitor internal policies, controls, and compliance documentation.
• Advise stakeholders on data protection obligations, risk mitigation, and best‑practice compliance measures.
• Lead internal alignment with national data roles, classifications, and obligations under official governance frameworks.
• Coordinate with internal teams, regulators, and partners to ensure consistent adherence to data protection standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
• 5–8 years of professional experience in data protection, privacy governance, or compliance functions.
• Minimum 12 months of direct DPO or privacy-focused experience with proven PDPL responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of PDPL & GDPR, including readiness to meet NDMO’s five‑tick compliance criteria.
• Clear understanding of SDAIA regulatory expectations and enforcement practices.
• Deep familiarity with Saudi data roles, obligations, and governance classifications.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into actionable internal processes and policies.
