Job Description: IAM Business Analyst (Senior)

Location: Belgium (onsite hybrid)
Languages: English + French or Dutch (mandatory)

Context

Our client, a leading Belgian institution, is strengthening its Identity & Access Management (IAM) capabilities to ensure compliance with the NIS2 directive. As part of this strategic program, we are looking for a Senior IAM Business Analyst to provide expertise, lead gap analysis, and design actionable roadmaps for sustainable IAM improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Business & Process Analysis
• Assess existing IAM processes, governance, and controls across the organization.
• Identify gaps and misalignments with NIS2 compliance requirements.
• Document current and target IAM processes, workflows, and policies.
Compliance & Risk Management
• Lead gap analysis against NIS2 standards, defining risks and critical exposures.
• Develop and maintain action plans to remediate IAM-related compliance gaps.
• Drive the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
IAM Controls & Automation
• Define and implement automated user access certification and recertification processes.
• Contribute to the standardization of account management practices (provisioning, deprovisioning, role-based access).
• Support audit and reporting requirements with clear IAM documentation and evidence.
Stakeholder Collaboration
• Act as the bridge between business teams, IT security, compliance, and audit functions.
• Facilitate workshops and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Ensure IAM requirements are well understood, aligned, and implemented across departments.

Required Profile
Expertise:
• Proven career track record primarily in Identity & Access Management (IAM).
• Hands-on experience with IAM frameworks, processes, and user lifecycle management.
• Strong knowledge of compliance-driven IAM projects (NIS2, ISO27001, SOX, GDPR, etc.).
Skills:
• Senior-level analytical and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and drive deliverables with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem-solving mindset with focus on continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Languages:
• Fluent in English.
• Proficiency in either French or Dutch (to facilitate communication with business stakeholders).
