SAP FICO Consultant (m/f/d)

We are seeking a mid-level SAP FICO Consultant to support the delivery of the Tax stream within a broader Finance transformation programme. The consultant will work under the guidance of the Finance Stream Lead and collaborate with senior consultants, including those handling Treasury, to ensure alignment and integration across streams.
Responsibilities:
· Assist in the design and configuration of tax-related processes within SAP FICO (VAT, WHT, Deferred Tax).
· Support workshops with Finance and Tax teams to gather and validate business requirements.
· Contribute to the functional design and ensure consistency with the core template.
· Perform SAP customizing and support documentation of functional specifications (RICEFW).
· Participate in integration and user acceptance testing (UAT), including test case preparation and defect resolution.
· Collaborate with senior consultants and technical teams to ensure smooth delivery.
· Maintain functional documentation and support knowledge transfer activities.
Qualifications and Skills:
· 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO, with exposure to tax configuration and reporting.
· Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA environments is preferred.
· Understanding of French tax localisation (e.g. VAT codes, DAS2, FEC) is a plus.
· Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while collaborating within a team.
· Strong communication skills and ability to interact with business stakeholders.
· Fluent in English; French language skills are advantageous.
