Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Incident Manager to oversee critical incident management processes and ensure continuity of banking operations at our leading financial institution in Abu Dhabi.
Key Responsibilities
- Incident Management: Oversee identification, prioritization, and resolution of major incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to banking services and operations
- Communication: Act as primary point of contact for stakeholders during incidents, providing timely updates to executive management, technical teams, and customers
- Root Cause Analysis: Lead post-incident reviews and root cause analysis to identify underlying issues, implement corrective actions, and prevent future incidents
- Process Improvement: Develop and refine incident management processes, policies, and procedures to enhance response efficiency and align with industry best practices
- Collaboration: Work closely with IT, security, compliance, and business units to ensure seamless coordination during incidents and foster continuous improvement
Experience: 7+ years in incident management, preferably in banking/financial services
Education: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
Skills:
- ITIL certification preferred
- Strong communication skills in English
- Experience with incident management tools (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.)
- Knowledge of banking systems and UAE regulatory requirements
- Leadership abilities and crisis management experience
