Halian is looking for his client, an international bank, based in Luxembourg - a Data & Reporting Risk Officer/Business Risk Analyst, for a permanent contract

- Support the modernization of the Risk Management Department’s data management and reporting environment;
- Lead the implementation and integration of new reporting ITS and reporting standards applicable to the Bank, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, traceability across all risk domains while complying with regulatory expectations at all times;
- Deal with all data quality and reconciliation issues reported on Anacredit timely with the ultimate objective to incorporate Anacredit datasets with other statistical and risk reporting;
- Contribute to the convergence of Anacredit and financial reporting processes, ensuring consistency, reconciliation, and traceability;
- Work closely with Finance, IT, Compliance, and Operations departments to align data and reporting structures;
- Promote integrated risk data architecture and shared governance standards across departments.
- Act as a risk technology expect within the department, promoting automation, efficiency, and innovation;
- Enhance data aggregation, governance, and reporting processes in line with BCBS 239 (Risk Data Aggregation and Risk Reporting) principles;
- Work with IT, Finance, and business lines to improve data lineage, mapping, and quality controls;
- Design and implement tools, dashboards, and scripts (VBA, Python, SQL) to improve workflow efficiency, data accuracy, and risk reporting capabilities;
- Lead the Bank’s outsourcing risk framework in compliance with internal and regulatory rules;
- Maintain the outsourcing risk register and reporting;
Your profile:
- Master's degree in data science, finance, or statistics;
- Fluent in English
- Fresh graduate to 3 years experience in data processing, transformation, and reporting;
- Ability to work transversally across departments and drive change in a collaborative manner;
- Good command of programming tools such as VBA, Python, Access or SQL;
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently in an international and dynamic environment.
