Halian is looking for his client, an international bank, based in Luxembourg - a regulatory compliance officer, for a permanent contract

Your responsibilities:

• Maintain, enhance and implement an effective management information process, ensuring the data quality is compliant with the Bank’s internal reporting and escalation rules. This involves collecting and consolidating all the relevant information at Compliance Department level;
• Be the contact of all European Branches for monthly compliance reporting;
• Monthly analysis, consolidation and reporting of significant figures, trends, events or incidents to Headquarter Compliance team;
• Prepare the compliance reporting for Audit and Compliance Committee (ACC), RICC and to the Board of Directors 
• Preparation of Annual Compliance Report in coordination of the Deputy ECCO and contribute/coordinate the submission of other regulatory reports or ad-hoc requests from regulators;
• Contribute to the preparation of any other periodical/ad hoc reporting/ documentation to be provided to the various internal committees, Authorized Management and Head Office.
• Support the Deputy ECCO in the follow-up and reporting of the internal and external audit reviews;
• Contribute to producing and maintaining Compliance normative documentation (policies, procedures, charters) in cooperation with Normative Documentation Officer as required;
• Contribute to the performance of controls as per annual Compliance Monitoring Program and on-site Branches reviews;
• Participate to projects in relation to compliance, as the case may arise.

Your profile:

• University degree in Law, Finance, or Business Management;
• Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in a compliance and AML role in the financial industry in Luxembourg;
• Fluent in English (written, oral, comprehension). 
• Good knowledge of Luxembourg regulatory requirements, including AML/CTF regulations;
• Excellent analysis and synthesis skills;
