Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced SharePoint Software Developer to join a long-term project with an EU Institution. The role focuses on the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-level software systems using SharePoint, Angular, and .NET technologies. The position is fully remote, with occasional travel to other locations as required by the client.
Typical Tasks and Responsibilities
- Design and develop software systems
- Lead development teams
- Translate business requirements into technical designs
- Optimize software for performance, security, and quality
- Produce technical documentation
- Estimate effort and time for development
- Set software development standards
- Propose technical solutions for business needs and technical challenges
- Collect and interpret software metrics
- Manage configuration and release processes
- Contribute to requirements analysis, testing, QA, change management and deployment
- Develop and execute testing tools and prototypes
- Provide 2nd and 3rd line support
Specific Requirements
- Experience as a Software Developer in at least:
- 2 projects involving ICT solutions for knowledge management, workflows, digital collaboration and document handling
- 2 projects involving ICT solutions for business process design and management
- At least 5 years of experience with:
- Angular framework
- .NET development
- SharePoint-based systems
Knowledge and Skills

- Full lifecycle experience of software solutions
- Expert in developing enterprise-level software systems
- Proficient in UML and application design
- Skilled in designing and developing data layer, business logic layer, and UI layer
- Experience working in Scrum environments
- Capable of leading technical teams
- Strong technical documentation skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
Required Certification

- At least one of the following:
- Advanced level certificate in software development technology domain
- Equivalent internationally recognized certification (subject to acceptance by the Contracting Authority)
Minimum Qualifications

- Education: ICT-relevant degree (Level 6 or higher)
- Language: English – minimum B2 level (CEFR)
- Professional Experience:
- Minimum 6 years of IT-relevant experience
- Minimum 3 years of project experience in a similar role
